in my latest video, “Logitech ASTRO A20 Review After 8 Months,” I dive into my experience with these gaming headphones over the past eight months. Despite initial excitement, I have to rate them a 6 out of 10 due to some significant issues I’ve encountered.
One of the main drawbacks is the claimed 50-foot range, which has fallen short in my experience. Instead of maintaining a steady connection, the headphones start cutting off after just 15 feet and begin popping at 8 feet, severely limiting their usability.
Additionally, the microphone’s performance leaves much to be desired. While the mic mute feature is convenient, using it often leads to the mic cutting in and out, disrupting communication. Over time, I’ve noticed the mic randomly malfunctioning, causing frustration and even ruining some of my recordings.
Despite these setbacks, the Logitech ASTRO A20 headphones do offer decent sound quality and comfort, earning them a moderate rating. However, the reliability issues with both the range and microphone performance are significant factors that detract from their overall value.
